This 557 bed not-for-profit health system led by volunteer boards of community leaders, was founded in 1951 by merging two smaller hospitals in Gainesville, GA. With 90 beds at its foundation it was considered by some as excessively large, yet despite such naysayers it has successfully grown over the past sixty plus years to serve nearly 800,000 people in more than 13 counties across the region.

Northeast Georgia Health System is now nationally renowned, recognized by Healthgrade as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals in 2013 and was listed in Truven Healthcare's list of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals (one of only twenty large community hospitals to be included in the list). Additionally Northeast Georgia is #1 in the state and top 5% in the nation for Cardiology, Coronary Interventions, General Surgery, and Gastrointestinal Care.

Northeast Georgia selected Xanitos, attracted by our innovative systems, our reputation, and our commitment that we would provide a high caliber, stable on-site management. Alex May, one of several young over achieving managers that have joined Xanitos recently, has been accepted as our resident regional manager for Northeast Georgia. Clyde Patterson, a veteran of many startups will lead the startup team.

"Partnering with Xanitos was a strategic decision for our organization. As it relates to patient care, we believe there is no responsibility more important or impactful than the one our EVS associates have each day. Our goal was to find a proven partner that was like minded and committed to the same core principles of operational rigor, innovation and most importantly, its people. Throughout our due diligence process, what impressed us most was the high level of engagement exhibited by the front line staff. Each member of the team understood the importance of their role and how each of them helps to save lives!"
